Kinja does a strange thing when I try to reply to a post on my phone (iPhone 8, chrome). When I hit Reply, the text gets bigger, the keyboard response slows down, and iOS starts making strange suggestions for the words I’m trying to type. Just look at my reply to ClassicDatsunDebate.
This isn’t the most extreme example, but it’s a typical error when Kinja starts acting strange. Note that it doesn’t behave this way when I’m creating a new post like this one.
It does, however, cut off the edges of the screen.

Yes, kinja mobile is a disaster. It also slows my keyboard and messes up my suggestions. Additionally, the keyboard cannot “see” the first letter of a new line, so it autocorrects properly spelled words into something else, or I get a word with the first letter repeated.

It’s been doing that text side cutoff to me for ages. It usually drops the first character of the first sentence, too. I have to turn the phone landscape to see everything. It’s a PIA. I try to create posts on mobile as infrequently as possible.
